Contentment

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.

Proverbs 3:5-6

How many times have I forgotten those words?
To many I believe. Life today is full of
many temptations. Much more than ever before.
For most of us, we forget that God is beside us
and forage our own way.
Take the time today to stop and sit on this bench
to rest your feet, your mind, and your soul.
Invite God to come sit beside you so that you may
speak to him. You will find peace and
contentment here on this bench if you do.

Take the following quote with you when you leave.

"I have learned to be content whatever the
circumstances.
I know what it is to be in need,
and I know what it is to have plenty.
I have learned the secret of being content
in any and every situation,
whether well fed or hungry,
whether living in plenty or in want.
I can do everything through him who gives
me strength."
